Barcelona are confident Dani Olmo will be registered despite financial fair play issues. The club are handling the situation calmly and reassured Olmo and his representatives according to AS.
The issue arises from Barcelona financial difficulties which could prevent Olmo from being registered by January 1. However the club are hopeful of resolving this using a similar approach to Gavi registration last year.
Barcelona will face La Liga in the Commercial Court Number 10 on Monday defending Olmo right to be registered. The same judge Ignacio Fernandez de Senespleda who ruled in Gavi favour is overseeing the case.
President Joan Laporta met with Olmo lawyer and father reassuring them that Olmo position is secure. Barcelona are working to resolve the situation and ensure Olmo registration until 2030.
