Real Madrid are looking forward to David Alaba return with hopes that he will be fit for the match against Las Palmas on January 19 at the Santiago Bernabeu. According to recent reports from MARCA the club is optimistic about his recovery progress.
Alaba has been sidelined for over a year due to injury but has recently shown significant progress. He has been training with the team for a few days and the plan is for him to be fully integrated into the squad when they return from their Christmas break on December 30.
If everything goes to plan Alaba should be available for selection after the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia. The first match following the tournament is set for January 19 against Las Palmas.
The Austrian defender has been recovering since suffering an injury on December 17 2023 during a match against Villarreal.
