Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has suffered a significant injury setback with a hamstring injury likely to keep him sidelined for around 10 weeks.
The England international was forced off just 14 minutes into the Manchester derby win over City and scans have revealed a hamstring injury caused by a hyperextended leg with tendon involvement.
Mount injury woes continue having missed five months of last season with thigh and calf injuries. This season he has already spent two months on the sidelines due to hamstring and head injuries.
The 25-year-old has made just four Premier League starts for United this campaign and his latest setback may rule him out for the remainder of the season.
