Rodrygo made an important impact in Real Madrid 3-3 draw against Rayo Vallecano in Vallecas.
Before half-time Rodrygo delivered a perfect cross to Jude Bellingham who equalised at 2-2. In the second half Rodrygo scored his first goal in 81 days completing Real Madrid comeback to 3-2.
Rodrygo goal ended a long drought his last goal coming on 24th September against Alaves. Despite a difficult season marked by injuries and the rise of the Bellingham-Mbappe-Vinicius trio Rodrygo performance suggests he regaining his form.
With four goals in La Liga this season compared to nine at this stage last year Rodrygo contributions have fallen short of expectations. However his display against Rayo Vallecano gives hope for better performances in the second half of the season.
