Brazilian youngster Vitor Roque scored his sixth goal of the season for Real Betis on Sunday giving his side the lead in a La Liga clash against Villarreal.
The 19-year-old impressive form on loan at Betis has been a welcome respite from a difficult start to his Barcelona career.
Signed by the Catalan giants for a whopping €30 million upfront in the summer of 2023 Roque expectations were sky-high.
However his premature arrival at Barcelona proved fateful with the youngster barely playing in his first six months at the club.
This prompted his agent to threaten a quick summer departure and ultimately led to Roque being sent on loan to Real Betis.
Betis secured a purchase option in the region of €25 million as part of the loan deal but it remains unclear whether they will trigger it.
