Girona coach Michel Sanchez has publicly criticised Dutch forward Arnaut Danjuma individualistic approach to the game stating that the player needs to prioritise the collective over personal interests.
Danjuma who joined Girona on loan from Villarreal has struggled to replicate his best form for the Blanc-i-Vermells contributing only two assists in 15 appearances.
Michel comments suggest that Danjuma inability to adapt to the team collective approach has been a major factor in his underwhelming performance.
He was not good I think he is not connected with the team with his teammates Michel told Relevo.
He wants to do the best but starts from the individual perspective and not the collective. I need him to be thinking about the collective first.
