Chan Vathanaka is training well with us every day despite having a lot of injuries in his career.
As a coach I have to be careful about using him in games.
In my opinion this is not the time to ask if he can be 100% free from injury but rather to focus on his adaptation as a player because in his career he has played with speed and flexibility on the pitch.
The injury has changed him so he has to adapt to a style of play that is not what he has done before.
Fortunately for him he has a good talent for playing football so I think me and the team can do a bit of work on his technique to give Vathanaka more opportunities to play. We have to manage the game as a team if we want him to show his greatness.
All of this is my responsibility to make it happen.
