Catalunya Radio are reporting that Andreas Christensen had to undergo injury to correct the Achilles injury he is suffering from.

The surgery was carried out on both feet of the Danish defender who has been sidelined since August.

Christensen will now be out until late January 2025 or February depending on how his recovery progresses from now on.

Barcelona have done remarkably well in the absence of Christensen with Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez performing brilliantly every week.

It becoming likely that Barca will try to sell Christensen 28 at the end of the season.
