Kobbie Mainoo appears to be close to returning to the pitch in a big boost for Ruben Amorim.
According to the Manchester Evening News the Man United midfielder was involved in the first training session with the new head coach in charge.
Mainoo has not played a game since October 6 struggling with a thigh injury.
The 19-year-old is expected to have a key role under Amorim having progressed into a regular starter during Erik ten Hag time at the club.
