Claudio Ranieri has reached a verbal agreement with AS Roma to become their next coach until the end of the season Fabrizio Romano attests.
The final details are now being sorted before Ranieri returns to his former stomping ground for his third stint in charge.
Ranieri was recently the manager of Cagliari but he left the role in the summer after the end of his contract.
The Italian coach managed Roma for 12 games in 2019 before being relieved of his duties.
