Marc Bernal is making good progress in his recovery from a serious knee injury. According to reports from SPORT Bernal has successfully completed the first phase of his rehabilitation after surgery on September 9.
The 20-year-old underwent surgery for a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and damage to his meniscus. He is now past the most difficult part of his recovery.
Bernal has begun rehabilitation work in the pool marking an important milestone in his recovery process. The club set a 12-month target for his return which would see him back in action by August 2025.
Despite the setback there is optimism around Bernal recovery. The young midfielder is working hard towards a full return to the pitch.
