AC Milan striker Alvaro Morata was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after a frightening aerial collision with teammate Strahinja Pavlovic during training.
The former Chelsea forward clashed heads with the Serbian center-back prompting immediate medical attention.
Morata was transported to a hospital in Legnano where he underwent an MRI scan. Fortunately the results showed no serious injuries and he was given the all-clear.
However as a precautionary measure Morata will remain in the hospital for observation and will miss AC Milan Serie A match away to Cagliari on Saturday.
