Ronald Araujo has resumed individual training as he aims to fully recover his fitness after suffering an injury during the 2024 Copa America.
As per RAC1 the Uruguayan centre-back is not expected to return to action for Barcelona before at least December.
He is not showing that many positive signs in training and the Blaugrana do not want to rush him back into action with the risk of triggering an injury.
Barca with proceed with extreme caution with their captain and realize there could be more potential delays to him return. This means he might not play under Hansi Flick before the festive fixtures begin.
Araujo will of course have to fight really hard to establish himself as a regular starter under the gaffer and faces an uphill task to remove either Pau Cubarsi or Inigo Martinez from the team.
