Man United interest in Ruben Amorim has been widely reported since Monday after the sacking of Erik ten Hag was announced.
The Reds have already agreed to pay Sporting Amorim €10m release clause and the manager is reportedly keen on joining United.
Amorim wants to bring his technical staff comprising assistant coaches Carlos Fernandes and Adelio Candido and his goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital.
Sporting want €5 million for the release of Amorim technical staff.
Amorim also has a notice period of 30 days which can only be waived off if Man United pay extra. This means United would have to pay over €15 million to sign Amorim and his staff immediately.
