Alexander Isak has put interested parties including Arsenal on red alert as he stalls signing a new contract with Newcastle United reports talkSPORT's Alex Crook.
His current deal expires only in June 2028 but the Magpies wish to hand him a longer deal. They value him at £115 million understandably to ward off any suitors.
Isak is reportedly demanding a high pay package one that would make him their top earner. He also wants the club to include a high release clause.
Arsenal have been interested in Isak multiple times over the past year and are keeping tabs on his situation.
The Gunners are expected to sign a new striker next year and Isak has been at the top of their list.
The 25-year-old shot to fame after hitting 21 goals in 30 Premier League games last season. He so far bagged a goal and an assist apiece in 2024-25.
