Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Yerson Mosquera is likely to miss the remainder of the Premier League season due to a severe knee injury.
Scans confirmed damage to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) in Mosquera left knee sustained during Saturday 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old Colombian international will undergo surgery within the next two weeks.
Wolves head of high performance Phil Hayward said Yerson has a long recovery period ahead it is highly unlikely he will feature again this season.
