Claudio Bravo the former Barcelona goalkeeper has hinted at a possible return to the club after Marc-Andre ter Stegen recent injury. Ter Stegen sustained a serious knee injury during the first half of the match against Villarreal which Barcelona won 5-1.
Bravo now 41 announced his retirement from football at the end of August after his contract with Real Betis expired. Despite stepping away from the game he has left the door open for a comeback. He stated If Barcelona call me I will be ready indicating his willingness to rejoin the team and provide cover in goal.
During the last season Bravo played 14 matches for Real Betis and the Chilean national team conceding 10 goals and keeping five clean sheets. His last appearance was in the 2024 Copa America showcasing that he still has experience at a competitive level.
