AS Roma forward Paulo Dybala has taken to social media to bid farewell to Daniele De Rossi who was fired from his role as manager at the Serie A club.

He posted Mister it hasnt been many months but it has been enough to convey to us many things on a sporting and human level. Football is often unfair thanks for everything and I wish you the best for your future.

De Rossi took over at Roma in January 2024. In the summer he signed a three-year contract with the club. He did not last a month into the season though.

At the same time Dybala rejected a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia to keep playing for De Rossi at Roma.
