Andy Carroll 35 has been announced as French fourth-tier side Bordeaux latest acquisition.
Carroll played for tier-two club Amiens but left them after the expiry of his contract. He played 28 times for them since joining in 2023 from Reading and scored four goals before a knee injury cut his season short.
The former Liverpool striker who has also played for Newcastle United will now play for the French fourth tier.
Bordeaux recently got relegated from the second tier to the fourth tier because of serious financial issues.
