Chelsea fans eagerly awaiting the return of Reece James will have to wait a little longer as sources indicate that the right-back is still sidelined with no imminent comeback in sight.
James has not played for the Blues since his red card against Brighton in May and a subsequent hamstring injury sustained over the summer has prolonged his absence.
Although Chelsea are poised to welcome back several key players who missed the win over Bournemouth James is not among them.
Manager Enzo Maresca had already hinted at James extended layoff saying Unfortunately Reece James needs more time.
However for now James recovery remains a work in progress.
