Juventus have announced that legendary defender and former captain Giorgio Chiellini is back with the club in a new role.
After announcing his retirement last year he returning to football and will serve as Head of Football Institutional Relations managing relationships with Serie A and European clubs as well as national teams. He will report directly to CEO Maurizio Scanavino.
The 40-year-old who made 561 appearances and won numerous titles with Juventus including nine Serie A titles will bring his extensive experience back to the club.
Chiellini retired from professional football in December 2023 after a stint with LAFC where he won the MLS Cup in his first season.
