The competition for the Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng Trophy will start soon during October 2024 with more than 30 teams participating.

Unlike the first and second seasons which only required Group B teams to compete for the title. In the third season the Volleyball Federation of Cambodia has allowed all participating teams to import two Cambodian national players and one foreign player to help the team.

This change is believed by Dr. Ang Serey Piseth including sports coaches to make the game more attractive exciting and tougher.

It should be noted that the champion of Samdech Krala Hom Sar Khong Season 2 2023 defeated the volleyball team of the Ministry of Interior B after defeating the volleyball team of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police 3 sets to 1 (16-25) (25-23) (25-20) (25-20) in the finals accompanied by a prize money of 50 million riels while the runner-up won 20 million riels. Separately the third place went to the bodyguard B volleyball club with 12 million riels after beating Pursat Provincial Police 3 sets to 1.
