Chelsea defender Malo Gusto has been forced to withdraw from the France Under-21 squad due to a thigh injury sustained during Sunday match against Crystal Palace.
Gusto who has been a regular starter for Chelsea this season was replaced late in the London derby after suffering a muscle injury.
The severity of the injury has now been confirmed and Gusto will miss France upcoming Under-21 fixtures.
This is a blow for both Chelsea and France as Gusto has been an integral part of the club defense and a key player for his country.
