Ivan Toney has completed a sensational move from Brentford to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli on the final day of the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old England striker signed a four-year deal that will earn him around £400.000 per week after tax with bonuses potentially increasing his earnings significantly.
This marks a huge jump from his previous salary of under £50.000 a week at Brentford.
According to Telegraph Sport players and managers must remain in Saudi Arabia for an entire tax year to receive their earnings tax-free. If they return to the UK earlier they risk HMRC taxing 45 per cent of their income.
