James Rodriguez has joined Rayo Vallecano as a free agent.
The Colombian signed a one-year deal with the La Liga club.
Rayo Vallecano are based in Madrid so the 33-year-old has come back to the Spanish capital for the first time since leaving Real Madrid in 2020.
The attacking midfielder spent last season at Brazilian club Sao Paulo where he recorded six goal contributions in 22 matches.
James was part of Real Madrid from 2014 to 2020 scoring 37 goals and delivering 42 assists in 125 appearances for the Whites.
