Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino has touched down in London paving the way for his highly anticipated transfer to Arsenal.
The 28-year-old arrived at the airport after departing from San Sebastian signalling the final stages of his move to the Premier League club.
Arsenal are set to pay an initial fee of £28 million plus an additional £4 million in add-ons to secure Merino services.
The talented midfielder will become the Gunners third summer signing following the permanent capture of David Raya from Brentford and the arrival of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna.
Merino is now expected to undergo a medical examination a standard procedure in the transfer process.
