The Athletic report that Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have reached a full agreement on the transfer of Joao Felix.

The Portugal international will join the Blues on a permanent deal. The fee Chelsea will pay for him has not been reported yet. Previous reports put it at between €39.8m and €44.5m.

The 24-year-old will sign a six-year deal with Chelsea with an option for the seventh year. He had previously spent a six-month loan spell at the Bridge scoring four times in 16 league appearances in the second half of the 2022-23 season.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the news with his trademark. The forward will travel to London for his medical tomorrow or the day after.

Conor Gallagher is expected to finalise his move to Atletico. The Blues will receive €42m for the Cobham academy graduate.
