Liverpool have been told what they must pay to sign Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili this summer.
As per Spanish outlet GolsMedia the Spanish club are not happy with the Reds €35m offer for the goalkeeper.
The La Liga side have made it clear that Liverpool need to pay €40m to sign Mamardashvili. If unable to do so then the goalkeeper will stay put at Valencia.
The club chairman Peter Lim had quoted that price to Newcastle United as well when the club asked to sign him earlier this year.
Liverpool current plan is to sign the Georgian goalkeeper and then immediately send him on loan at Bournemouth for this season.
If the Reds are able to do this then they get him into their first-team squad in 2025 and potentially groom him to be Alisson long-term successor.
