Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo has spoken out after suffering a serious injury just minutes into the team first game of the new season.
During Saturday match against Bournemouth at the City Ground the game was delayed for seven minutes when Danilo landed awkwardly after challenging Antoine Semenyo for an aerial ball.
The Brazilian midfielder leg was forced into an unnatural position and referee Michael Oliver quickly halted the game as medical staff rushed to the field.
The stadium fell silent as Danilo was treated and he has now addressed fans on social media following the incident.
