Manchester United young winger Facundo Pellistri is set to leave the club permanently with Greek outfit Panathinaikos emerging as his likely destination.
According to Fabrizio Romano advanced talks are underway between United and Panathinaikos for the Uruguayan signing.
Pellistri 22 has struggled for first-team opportunities at Old Trafford with his last Premier League appearance dating back to December 2023.
Despite a brief cameo in the Community Shield loss to Manchester City his chances of regular playing time have been limited by the arrival of Joshua Zirkzee Jadon Sancho return and Amad Diallo development.
Panathinaikos who finished fourth in the Greek Super League last season are keen to strengthen their squad for their Europa League campaign.
While negotiations are ongoing a deal could be finalized in the coming days bringing an end to Pellistri three-year stint at United.
