Ivan Toney has been left out of Brentford squad for their Premier League opener against Crystal Palace. As Brentford prepares to kick off their season on Sunday they will be without their star striker.
New details have surfaced about Toney future with reports suggesting he is in talks with Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli. According to Ben Jacobs from GiveMeSport Toney is demanding a salary of over €20 million to make the move to Saudi Arabia.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank addressed Toney absence on Sky Sports saying A lot of things are going on with Ivan especially with transfers there a lot of transfer interest. Because of all that we decided not to include him in the squad. I cant give too much away.
Of course Ivan is a top player he has been fantastic for us for four years but we showed last season we can cope without him.
