Sepp van den Berg has attracted significant transfer interest this summer but Liverpool high valuation of around £20 million has deterred potential buyers.

According to De Telegraaf PSV Eindhoven have now withdrawn from the race for the 22-year-old center-back who was active throughout pre-season.

The Eredivisie side held significant interest in the player but have now shifted their focus to other targets deeming the Reds price tag majorly high.

Despite interest from at least 11 clubs including several Bundesliga sides Liverpool have yet to make a final decision on Van den Berg future.
