Manchester United have resumed talks with Everton over the signing of Jarrad Branthwaite now offering £60 million according to Football Insider.
The Toffees had initially valued the 21-year-old centre-back at £80 million but the Red Devils are currently confident their new bid will be accepted.
Branthwaite had already agreed to personal terms with Man United earlier in the summer transfer window with a proposed £160.000-per-week contract.
Despite signing Leny Yoro and Matthijs De Ligt Erik ten Hag remains eager to secure Branthwaite to strengthen his defensive options this summer.
