On Monday evening just as Barca were playing against Monaco in the Joan Gamper Trophy the club registered three players in their La Liga squad. Eric Garcia Ansu Fati and Clement Lenglet were added to the players list.
Mundo Deportivo now add that Hansi Flick has asked the club to prioritise the registration of Inigo Martinez.
The German wants to use the centre-back against Valencia as he was delighted by what he saw from Inigo during the pre-season. The Basque defender was one of only three players to complete the full 90 minutes against Monaco.
The 33-year-old joined Barca on a free transfer last summer making 25 appearances in his first season.
Note that Barca latest signing Dani Olmo has not been registered yet.
