Atletico Madrid and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Julian Alvarez.
The Argentine has signed a deal until 2030.
The announcement unfolded through the club official channels starting with the Spiderman drawing and followed by a short video titled Spider a new red-and-white universe leading up to a statement introducing the highly anticipated forward.
The 24-year-old Argentine is a fast skilled striker who plays as a midfielder. He joins Atletico with an impressive resume. Over two seasons with Manchester City he played 103 matches scoring 36 goals.
In a statement expressing his gratitude Alvarez reflected on his time at Manchester City saying Today I say goodbye to this amazing club with a lot of emotion.
