Liverpool have confirmed that Fabio Carvalho has joined Premier League side Brentford on a permanent deal.
The Reds are going to receive around £27.5m including performance-related add-ons from this sale. They also inserted a 17.5% sell-on clause in the deal.
Carvalho has signed a five-year contract with the Bees and will be aiming to play in the Premier League on a regular basis.
The Portuguese winger had an impressive pre-season under Arne Slot. But the club felt that it be better for him to leave due to competition on the left-wing role from the likes of Luis Diaz with Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez.
Carvalho made 21 appearances for Liverpool since joining in 2022 and scored three goals.
