According to Fabrizio Romano Chelsea remain interested in Victor Osimhen following the collapse of their deal to sign Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid.
However Chelsea are still insisting on signing Osimhen only on loan and on lower wages than he currently earns at Napoli.
The Nigerian striker is yet to agree to this arrangement even though he already told Napoli he wants to leave.
With Osimhen stalling Chelsea agreed on a deal with Atletico for Omorodion but the deal fell through during the weekend for various reasons. Some sources say the Spanish striker failed his medical others say Chelsea tried to change the conditions of the deal suddenly.
Thus Atleti recalled their striker from London with Joao Felix now being discussed between both clubs.
