Arsenal are prepared to sanction a loan deal for Eddie Nketiah with Marseille with an obligation to buy for around €30 million according to The Athletic.
Personal terms on a five-year deal have been agreed and the decision now rests with Marseille whose new boss Roberto De Zerbi is keen on the striker.
The 25-year-old is eager to join the Ligue 1 side having seen limited opportunities at Arsenal due to the arrivals of Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz.
Despite making 37 appearances and scoring six goals for the Gunners last season Nketiah only started 10 Premier League games under Mikel Arteta.
