Liverpool nearly agreed a deal for Anthony Gordon back in June but the transfer fell through in the end. Newcastle are reportedly asking for a £75m fee to part ways with the forward something the Reds are not ready to pay.

Fabrizio Romano says that the deal could still go through if Newcastle lower their demands or if other movements in the transfer market happen.

The journalist told Give Me Sport If they drop the price at Newcastle that could still be a possibility I think for Liverpool in the final weeks on the transfer window. But it not something that I hearing is now really imminent because there is still no bid to Newcastle.
