Nico Williams has agreed with his older brother Inaki to stay at Athletic Bilbao for at least one more season Marca reports. According to Mundo Deportivo it was Inaki who mounted the biggest pressure on Nico to stay.
Williams was so eager to play again for Athletic Club that he cut short his holiday to return to training. The winger want expected back at the club until August 12.
It was days ago that Williams made his final decision to stay at Bilbao. First he informed PSG who offered a lot of money and then Barca. The player didnt consider joining any English clubs that came for him either.
Barca were probably well aware of Williams decision for days which explains why they have accelerated their pursuit of Dani Olmo.
Barca had two offers for Olmo rejected before Deco flew to Germany to broker the deal face-to-face.
