Arsenal have turned their attentions towards the possibility of signing Man City forward Julian Alvarez claims the Mirror.
This comes after realizing that the Argentine star has had a fallout with Pep Guardiola. Alvarez is reportedly unhappy at not being a regular starter with the Cityzens.
Guardiola is always open to letting an unhappy player leave his team. As a result Mikel Arteta is pondering over a potential raid from his former club.
But Man City are not going to let their star forward leave for cheap and might ask for as much as £80m to let him go.
This would prove too expensive for Arsenal who would only be interested in a deal if the Cityzens lower their demands.
The Gunners can only make a formidable bid for Alvarez if able to generate funds from selling Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson.
