Mikel Arteta has expressed his disappointment with Arsenal lack of clinical finishing, which was evident in their 2-1 friendly loss to Liverpool.
Despite being one of the top-scoring teams in England over the past two seasons the Gunners failed to capitalise on most of their scoring opportunities.
Arteta emphasised the need for his team to become more clinical and stop missing crucial chances.
We have to punish teams. Especially with the aggression that we played with and the amount of times that we won the ball in dangerous areas and then not enough happened he said.
It happened basically the other way around. That where we need to improve.
Arsenal have been linked with strikers Alexander Isak Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyökeres to bolster their goal tally but Arteta stresses the importance of his team becoming more clinical in front of goal.
