Marseille have increased their efforts to sign Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal with an improved offer nearing €20 million £16.8 million as per The Athletic.

Although the Gunners higher asking price makes acceptance unlikely as things stand right now negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing.

If a deal is reached the striker who has already agreed to a five year contract with Marseille would be eager to join Roberto De Zerbi team.

Last season the 25-year-old made 37 appearances for Arsenal scoring six goals while also debuted for England in a friendly against Australia.
