Frenkie de Jong would like to leave Barcelona as a free agent in 2026 according to Mundo Deportivo Gabriel Sans.
The Dutchman is neither listening to Barca contract proposal nor to other clubs offers.
De Jong is said to be Blaugrana highest-paid player although he claimed that media exaggerate the issue. Part of his salary reportedly was deferred a few years ago so it possible that the club owe him a certain fee.
The 27-year-old is currently recovering from his injury. He is unlikely to be fit for the season opener on August 17 and his recovery date is unclear at all at this point.
