Trent Alexander-Arnold has decided not to sign for Real Madrid next year according to The Mirror in the UK.
Real Madrid have been closely monitoring the English right-back as a potential replacement or backup for Dani Carvajal with Lucas Vazquez set to leave the club next summer.
But Trent is unlikely to leave his childhood surroundings even though he has only one year left on his Liverpool contract.
However some sources still believe that Real Madrid can convince Trent to join them for free next year.
If Real Madrid can turn the head of Trent he would be free to sign a pre-contract agreement to move to Spain in January and officially join them next year.
