Romelu Lukaku finally appears to be on the verge of leaving Chelsea on a permanent basis in the summer transfer window.
As per Gianluca di Marzio the Belgian forward has agreed personal terms with Napoli and is ready to complete the move once the club agrees on a fee.
He ready to accept wages of around £5m-a-year opting for a major salary deferment to reunite with Antonio Conte at the Italian club.
According to the Mirror Chelsea are looking at potentially saving £16.9m this season with Lukaku permanent sale. If he leaves they wont have to pay this huge amount to him and can hence write it off their financial books.
This comes after the Blues also terminated the contract of defender Malang Sarr and saved over £5m from that too.
Lukaku is actually the highest-earning player in the Chelsea squad currently but that should not be a case once he joins Napoli.
