AS Roma are preparing for a legal battle regarding Riccardo Calafiori transfer from Bologna to Arsenal believed to be worth around €45 million.
Basel who have a 50% sell-on clause will receive half of the transfer fee but Roma claim they should also get €8 million due to their 40% sell-on clause.
The dispute arose because Basel didnt inform Roma about the deal and they believe their percentage applies to Basel earnings from the Arsenal move.
According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport the lawyers from both clubs are currently assessing the situation with more news expected soon.
