Barcelona midfielder Pablo Torre is on the road to recovery after undergoing successful surgery on his fractured left hand.
The 21-year-old suffered a fractured fifth metacarpal in a training session earlier this month just as he was getting settled back into the team under new manager Hansi Flick following a season-long loan with Girona.
According to a statement released by the club Dr. Xavi Mir performed the procedure which was supervised by the Club medical staff.
The surgery was deemed a success and Torre is expected to return to training as early as next week.
Torre return will be a welcome boost to Flick squad who are gearing up for the new season.
