Enzo Fernandez filmed himself and his Argentina teammates singing a racist chant aimed at French players.

The midfielder publicly apologised writing a message on social media in a Comic Sans font. He also reportedly apologised to his teammates.

The Daily Mail say that the expectation is that Chelsea will fine the 23-year-old and send him on an educational course.

The paper states that Enzo is unlikely to be banished from the squad and will rejoin Chelsea pre-season training at some point either this month or in August.

However Fernandez will have to do something to redeem himself in the eyes of his Black French teammates such as Wesley Fofana and Christopher Nkunku.
