According to The Athletic David Ornstein Marseille have reached an agreement in principle with Mason Greenwood for his signing from Man United.
The French side had already gotten the Red Devils approval for the deal. They have now verbally agreed to contract terms with the Englishman himself.
Greenwood must now travel to France for his medical and sign his contract before the deal can be officially secured.
The Red Devils are poised to receive around £26.7m from Marseille for this deal. This includes £23.3m immediately and £3.4m in potential add-ons.
Greenwood has not played any matches for Man United since January 2022. He made 129 appearances for the Red Devils scoring 35 goals and providing 12 assists in all competitions.
